Ohhhh yaaa, new mic! Wut wut!! I purchased this from amazon for about 150 CAD. It is pretty sweet! The only downside worth mentioning is it is a little more work transferring your recordings to your computer because you are using an SD card and plugging it in your system. To combat this however, you can do line out from the device into your computer’s line in 🙂
It has some great on-board options for outdoor noise filtering and reducing background noise.
I recorded the above with my air conditioning going nuts in the background and the sound came out great. Enjoy my recording 🙂 For some reason the above recording seems to produce erratic sounds on iOS devices. Try it out on your desktop and things should sound great.
Audio Levels Used For This Recording:
NOTE: Check out this video as a starter guide!
- Sound Quality =~ 48k @ 24bit
- Lowcut Filter =~ 80Hz (Limit Wind Noise)
- Limiter = On
- Auto Level = Off (Set gain yourself)
- Set gain (the round nob) to -18 DB to -12 DB (For strong healthy sound)
RATING 5/5 Excellent Product! No complaints! 😀
P.S the song I was singing is from Scooter – Weekend.
